DARK GAIA'S PROFILE

I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.
I post updates on my Facebook and Twitter:

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords
Okay, first of all, do you have the DLC installed? For some reason, it may be interfering with some scripts earlier in the game. The Hawkshire Tech store normally has no issues.
If you do have the DLC installed, try copying your save file into the base game, buying the Techs you want and then installing the DLC again.
Also, pressing F12 to reset the game may cause issues like this.

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords
That's a new one. Do you have the DLC installed, or are you just playing the base game? If you have the DLC installed, try re-downloading the base game and copying your save file over, then trying the fight again.
I don't know how the DLC would affect that battle as it doesn't alter that battle event at all, but it could be part of the cause.

Legionwood: Mysteries of Dynastland DLC now available!
Let me know if you run into any game-breaking bugs, guys! I did get to beta test it, but I have a feeling I uploaded the wrong version!
@edchuy: Everything up until the Sealed Library is pretty much the same except for some new unique Techs, but you'll notice quite a lot of new content afterwards.
@Aurora_Paradox: Nope! All of the new quests take place in the latter half of Chapter 4, so you won't miss out on anything except getting the Quest Journal.

DLC #1 - Mysteries of Dynastland
Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords
It's quite a bit simpler in Legionwood. When you level up, you gain a limited amount of AP, and then you use that to buy stat boosts. There's a limit to how many you can buy at a time, and you can sell them back and re-build characters whenever you want.
Techs are bought at a Tech store in towns. There's no restrictions on which Techs can be learned by which character, but some may use a Tech more effectively depending on how you built their stats.
Legionwood 2 has (in my opinion) a much better, tighter structured system.

@shayoko: I'm not quite sure if it's as long as Bloodstone, but the average playtime is around 15 hours. There's also a DLC/expansion pack coming soon that increases it by another couple of hours and adds some new story quests and Techs to learn.

Oh, I'm no great shakes at it, myself. It's basically just a matter of spending a lot of time working on a map -- I usually need at least 3 hours to make a map.
Legionwood 2: Rise of the Eternal's Realm
Hmm, sounds like the event flags are triggering in the wrong order. It's an easy fix -- thanks for reporting it! I'll get to it right as soon as I'm done with the Legionwood 1 expansion pack I'm working on, when I resume Legionwood 2.
Legionwood 2: Rise of the Eternal's Realm
Yeah, that's pretty much it. Just try pulling the levers in different combinations until you get it right. It's basically just a trial and error puzzle.
